Using the Library

Facilities

The Library has a variety of facilities to support your studies. This includes:

  • Study spaces: large and small tables, an adjustable height desk, soft seating, a silent reading room, reading nooks and benching so that  you can find a space suitable for your study style or mood.
  • Meeting room with a large TV screen for presentations or viewing. This includes Freeview TV and radio, Blu-ray, DVD and VHS players.
  • Printer corral: printers / photocopiers, staplers, hole punch, cutting mats and guillotines.
  • Silent reading room: we ask you to respect this and switch your mobile onto silent, leave the room if you wish to have a conversation. Please don't listen to audio / music on headphones in this space as users find this disruptive.
  • Water dispenser. You will need to bring your own bottle to use this.
  • Toilets on the ground floor for all and disabled toilets on the ground and first floor.
  • Lift: please ask if you need help to use this.
