Displays: Black History Month

Black History Month

October is Black History Month, Britain's biggest celebration of our African and Caribbean diasporic communities, and a recognition of the enormous contribution Black Britons have made to the UK's vibrant and diverse society.

To celebrate, we've put together this digital display, to accompany one in the Library building, covering some of the best things in our collection you can read and watch over the course of this month, including books on the topics of the Black experience, Black history, Black arts and culture - past, present and future - as well as plenty of fantastic films, TV shows and documentaries.
